David Daniel Burch, 90, of Radcliff died Monday, July 17, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Burch was a native of Pinopolis, South Carolina, and the son of the late, Frank and Essie Major Burch. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown where he served on the Deacon Board. He was a retired SSG from the U.S. Army and a member of DAV, NAACP, American Red Cross and was a KY Colonel.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Burch; grandson, Orlando Burch; three brothers, Willie Burch, Walter Burch and Glen Burch; a sister, Isabell Brown.
Survivors include three sons, David D. Burch, Jr., Charlotte, North Carolina, David Darryl Burch (Lori), Radcliff, KY and Frank R. Burch (Aribbe) of Paducah, KY; seven daughters, Diane Duncan of Bronx, N.Y., Yolande Burch-Daniels of Radcliff, KY, Marlene Burch(Theia) of Pittsburgh, California, Yvonne Cepero, Apollo, Florida, Angela Burch, Hampton, Virginia, Danielle Wray (Kenneth) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Cassandra Reid, Atlanta, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
The funeral is at 12 noon, Thursday, July 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Roderick Jones officiating with burial to follow in the KY Veterans Cemetery Cental in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 26 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
