Obituary For David Lee Howard

David Lee Howard, 61, of Ekron, KY passed away on June 30, 2025.

David was a skilled shoe cobbler in his younger years, working alongside his father and brothers in several family-owned shoe repair shops. As that chapter of his life closed, he turned his talents to mechanics, spending many years working out of his garage. He had a lifelong love for cars and everything about them.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Opal Howard; special friend, Cheryl Morris; daughter, Tina Spink; brother-in-law, Donnie Morris; and nephews, David Morris and DJ Howard.

He is survived by his grandson, Cody Spink (Battletown, KY); his sisters, Diane Howard and Sandra Morris (both of Ekron, KY); his brothers, Pete (Lois) Howard (Mt Washington, KY), Danny (Lisa) Howard (Mt Washington, Ky) James Howard (Guston, KY); close friend, Shannon Short (Ekron, Ky) and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He will be remembered for his hard work, kindness and the way he could fix just about anything. He leaves so many memories behind with all his loved ones.

The family has chosen cremation. A celebration of life will be held on July 12,2025 at 1579 Guston-Bewleyville Rd. Guston, KY 40142 from 1pm-4pm.
