Obituary For Dr. Loretta Robinson

Dr. Loretta Jenkins Robinson, 72, of Elizabethtown, KY died on November 20, 2020 at her residence.

Dr. Robinson was a native of Ocala, FL, and the daughter of the late Cora Jenkins. She was a member of Lakeside Worship Center where she served at the Christian Education Director.

Survivors include her husband, Leavy Robinson of Elizabethtown, KY; daughters, Shanta Lyke, Lakesha Strassner (Robert), Tewanna Robinson and LaTonya Robinson; one son, William Allen, III (Sheila); eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Lakeside Worship Center with Pastor Timothy Nickels officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.

A very good friend, Loretta; I'll always remember our last conversation early in the year 2020 where we exchanged hugs and I love yous and I said to her whatever you need me to help you do, all you have to do is ask.

I am at a loss for words . . . Our brother, Ire, informed me that he had found you and had been in touch. I asked him to ask you if I could call you because I so wanted to connect with you and find out more about my AMAZING big sister. I remember meeting you once long ago and speaking with you by phone when you were visiting home (Ocala) from Germany. We had similar upbringings and I was looking forward to connecting and flying out to Kentucky. Imagine my total shock and surprise to find out that you were gone . . .I'm so sorry we never connected, but I rejoice because you left such a phenomenal legacy, a beautiful family and I know you're with the LORD.
