Obituary For Dwayne Kent Montgomery
Mr. Dwayne Kent Montgomery, Sr., 53, of Elizabethtown, KY died Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Hosparus Inpatient Care, Louisville, KY.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hodgenville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Monica Montgomery; and his father Charles Dale.
Survivors include his son, Dwayne K. Montgomery Jr., of Newark, New Jersey; his granddaughter, Latifa Hardin;his mother, Paula K. Montgomery; two brothers, Darrell Montgomery (Barbara) and Dwight Montgomery; two sisters, LaTasha Montgomery and Amina Montgomery; two uncles, Melvin Montgomery (Connie) and Jeff Montgomery (Emma); two aunts, Phyllis Mitchell (Rev. David) and Elder Bonita Robinson.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. John C. Lee officiating.
Visitation after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the funeral home.
