Ernest Emeral McCray, III, 61, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at his residence.
He was a retired SSG with the U.S. Army; a member of Truth Baptist Church; a member of the Masonic Order; member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity; and the #1 Steelers Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest E. McCray, Jr. and Frances McCorkle McCray.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, William E. (Shanna) McCray, Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Wendy (Herman, Jr.) McKie of Salisbury, N.C; an aunt, Shirley Moss; nephews Will McCray, Jr., Daniel McKie, Michael McCray, Nathan McKie, Jaden McCray, Matthew McCray; niece, Kayla McCray; and a host of cousins, fraternity and military friends.
The funeral will be held at 12 noon, Monday, March 31, 2025 at Truth Baptist Church in Radcliff, KY with Dr. Silas Session officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the KY Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
Visitation after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.

I am gonna miss listening to music chillin outside on summer nights, or watching our long list of shows. You're so loved by many and will be missed by each and every one of us.
