SSG (Ret.) Freddie Rayvon Nails, Sr., died on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the Carl Brashear Veterans Center in Radcliff, KY.
Mr. Nails was a native of Winston Salem, NC and the son of Frederick (Sr) and Amanda Nails Nesmith. He was a member of Mt. Abel Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Nails.
Survivors include his wife Angelica Johnson Nails of Vine Grove, KY; his mother, Amanda E. Nesmith (Tommy Lee) of Winston Salem, NC; one son, Freddie Rayvon Nails, Jr. of Vine Grove, KY; four daughters, Tawanda Carter (Marlin), Chantal Nails-Neylon, Britany Nails and Breanna Nails; three sisters, Elder Linda F. Lewis (Danny), Dianna Williams, Elder Pamela Ferrell; God-daughter Chantal Carter; a devoted cousin, Linsetta Dodd and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Caldwell officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 15, 2021 also at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.
Burial with military honors is 11:00 am on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
