Gerald Douglas Goldsmith, 61 of Elizabethtown, KY passed away on August 3, 2024.

Gerald Goldsmith was born October 12, 1961, in Vine Grove KY to the late Garland and Geraldine Wells Goldsmith.

Mr. Goldsmith is survived by a daughter Cassandra (Joseph) Redmond of Elizabethtown; a brother James Goldsmith; four sisters, Garlene Saylor, Beverly Griffin, Barbara Cramer, Linda Howard; three grandchildren, Jaxxon, Nevaeh and Nymia.

Percell and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with final arrangements.

My thoughts and prayers go to the family. Gerald was a down to earth man. It was a pleasure to have worked with him.

Doug was in my class starting at Vine Grove Elementary School and the 4th grade. I'm a Vine Grove boy myself from Sloppy Buttoms. He was certainly a unique person and had some stories to tell. There is something about the Vine Grove boys that is memorable. Sorry to hear about his passing. Dr. Paul Hollern
