SFC (Ret.) Harry Banks, Sr., 83, of Radcliff, KY died on April 14, 2020 at the Radcliff Carl Brashear Veterans Center.
Mr. Banks was a native of Greenwood, MS and the son of the late Horace and Myrtle Banks. He was a member of Lifeline Temple COGIC where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Banks was a US Army veteran and member of the DAV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Louis Banks and Preacher Banks; sisters Essie Sanders, Lovie Robinson and Susie Wooden.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Cooke Banks; sons Hasani Olujmi (Harry L. Banks, Jr.) and Richard L. Cooke, II; daughters Patrica Ann Banks, Tamela R. Cooke, Tiffany Marie Cooke, Kimberly L. Curry and Rhonda Cooke-Tanabe; grandchildren Angela Denise Banks, Kyla M. Cooke, LaToya Danielle McCubbins, Nathaniel Maddox Cooke and Dwayne Glenn Martin, Jr.
Private funeral service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Cedric Jones officiating. Private burial will take place at North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff, KY.
