Mrs. Mary Louise Graves, 89, of Radcliff, KY, died on July 13, 2022, at her residence.
Mrs. Graves was a native of Natchez, MS and the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Bacon.
A member of First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, she was a Trustee, a member of the Officer Wives' Ministry, Missionary Ministry, Prison Ministry, Adult & Mass Choirs, the Golden Tones quartet and taught Sunday School. Mrs. Graves was a graduate of Alcorn (State) University and retired elementary school teacher with the Elizabethtown Independent School System (Helmwood Heights).
Mrs. Graves was Past State Grand Loyal Lady Ruler (LLR) of the Order of Golden Circle Assembly #244 and Past Worthy Matron of OES Rising Star #102. She was a member of the Alcorn State University Alumni Association and Hardin County Retired Teachers Association as well as a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carlotta Beverly and Bessie Hargrave; two brothers, Robert Bacon and Warrenton Bacon; granddaughter, Sheena Graves and son-in-law, Otis James.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Graves, Jr. of Radcliff, KY; one daughter, Patricia James of Radcliff, KY and one son, Willie Graves (Yvonna) of Charleston, WVA; one sister, Sarah Boyd (Rev. Clarence) of Radcliff, KY along with a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service is 11:00 am on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Roderick Jones officiating.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022, also at First Baptist Church.
Interment will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.

I loved her she was very sweet and well loved she was my choir when I was a child at first Baptist church called the B.T's Mr.graves you have my deepest sympathy and will keep you & family in our prayers
