Obituary For Mrs. Mattie L. Walker

Mrs. Mattie L. Walker, 85, of Radcliff, KY, died Wednesday, March 11,2026 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

She was baptized at St. Chapter Primitive Baptist Church in Browns, Alabama. During her adult life she attended Spring Hill Baptist Church in Clarkesville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Walker; her son Eugene L. Walker; her eldest daughter, Legia Robinson; her first grandchild, Tanisha Wilbourn; and her siblings Jasper Anderson, Arthur Anderson, Lindsey Anderson and Rosetta Nix.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Linda (Kevin) Russell and Lori Walker; grandchildren Marcus (Ryessia) Russell, Stephanie Russell and Alyssa Walker; great-grandchildren Jarrell Russell, Aeden Russell, Olivia Russell and Delilah Russell; sisters Eugenia (George) Austin of Philadelphia, PA and Dorothy Smith of Birmingham, AL.; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and her longtime friend Judy Harris.

The funeral will be held 11:00a.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 at Foston Funeral Home in Clarkesville, Tenn. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tenn.
