Obituary For Rickey Helm
Rickey Helm, 72 of Owensboro, formally of Elizabethtown, died Friday, November 21, 2025, at Owensboro Regional Hospital.
He was a member of Kingdom Life Ministries. He loved to fish and spend time with family and loved to cruise and drive family around.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ova and Lucy Helm; his wife Shirley Helm; two brothers, Donald Helm and June Helm; a sister Doris Phelps.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Helm; two sons Scott (Heather) Armes and Taran (Haley) Armes; two daughters Melissa (Joseph) Heinzl, and Sabrina Dile (Eddie deceased); eleven grandchildren Tyler Dile, Zachary Dile, Ashleigh McKenzie, Shelby McKenzie, Marissa McKenzie, Allison Heinzl, Seth Heinzl, Lyam Armes, Jaelyn Grubbs, Gracelyn Armes and Roselyn Armes; two great-grandchildren, Brantlee Dile and Liam Dile; two brothers Robert (Diana) Helm and Larry Helm (Patty deceased); two sisters, Geraldene (Clayton) Grey and Annette (James) Elmore.
The funeral will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hobert Cemetery in Eastview.
Visitation after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
