Mr. Robert Weathers, 61, of Elizabethtown, KY died on August 21, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Weathers was a native of Elizabethtown, KY and the son of James Weathers and Nellie Weathers Cummings. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was self-employed. Robert was a U. S. Army veteran who also enjoyed fishing and was an avid sports fan.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Michael.
Survivors include his mother, Nellie Cummings of Elizabethtown, KY; two sons, Jaron Skillman of Louisville, KY; Harrison Isom of Bardstown, KY; three daughters, Monique Pogue of Maryland, Shayla Skillman of Elizabethtown, KY and Cherie Jackson (Delbert) of Oak Grove, KY; two brothers, Charles (Chuck) Weathers and Tim Weather (Angela) both of Elizabethtown, KY; two sisters, Charmaine Thomas (Richard) of Elizabethtown, KY and LaTanya McKenzie (Kenneth) of Owensboro, KY; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roderick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.
