Ronnie “Raymond” Williams passed away September 13, 2023, at Baptist Health Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was 86 years old and was the 4th child of James and Bessie Williams. He was born April 4, 1937, in Green County, Kentucky.
Raymond moved away to Aurora, Illinois where he lived for the majority of his adult years. He loved life and traveling. He moved to Illinois to San Bernardino, California where he remained for several years. He later returned home to Kentucky with his wife Daisy Williams. Raymond worked many years in production at General Mills in Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Bessie Williams; his wife, Daisy Williams, son Ronnie Wayne Williams Jr. (Spuddy), grandson DaJion Shepherd, brothers, Edward Gene Williams, Robert Williams, Jewell Williams and Junior Williams, sisters Eva Mae White, Carolyn Williams, and Norma Hyman.
Raymond leaves to cherish his memory his children Calvin Brown, Tony Farris, Marian Farris, Karen Steward (Larry), Sherea Shephed, brothers Curtis Williams (Lois), Ray Williams (JoAnn), Lewis Williams (Val), and Odell Williams, sisters, Minnie Williams, Daisy Williams, Mary Woods (Carver), Anna Johnson (Johnell), Joyce Ann Robinson (Elmer) and Linda Faye Pettigrew (George); grandchildren Lashawna Springer (Jarvis), Candice Malone (Jeremy), Tramaine Williams, Porcha Garcia (Adam), Lauren Steward, Rakieyeya Dowdy, Larry Steward Jr., Unique Coker and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Raymond loved his family, and his family loved him. He will truly be missed and will never be forgotten.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Percell's Funeral Home
