Obituary For Todd Allen Jr.

Todd (T.J.) Allen Jr.,19, of Elizabethtown, KY died Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at his residence.

He was a member of First Baptist Church Elizabethtown. T.J. was a member of the Elizabethtown High School football and Basketball team. T.J. was known for his great talents on the field and court. T.J. was very proud of his high school number 14. He enjoyed playing video games and hanging with family and friends. T.J. was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James F. Allen (Paw Paw).

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Katie Buckner of Elizabethtown, KY; his father, Todd Allen Sr.; four brothers, Josiah Mayfield of Louisville, KY, Devine Allen of Louisville, KY, Daron Allen of Louisville, KY and Tavion Buckner of Elizabethtown, KY; paternal grandfather, Anthony Harper of Louisville, KY; paternal grandmother, Crystal Allen of Louisville, KY; Maternal grandparents, William (Billy) and Hattie Buckner of Elizabethtown, KY; a uncle, Michael Buckner of Elizabethtown, KY; two aunts, Daraline Cox (David) of Elizabethtown, KY and Kristen Allen; his girlfriend, Chloe O'Banion and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at First Baptist Church Elizabethtown with Rev. Rochelle Moore Harden officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2023 at Percell and Sons Funeral Home.

TJ was a fine young man. I watched him grow up in the community as well as on football fields and basketball courts. Katie and his family did a fine job of teaching him to be kind and respectful of others. He was a joy to watch on the football field, always giving it his best!
