Virginia Mae Bailey Yancey, 87, of Radcliff, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Baptist Health Hardin.
She was born on March 10, 1938 to the late Benjamin and Gussie Bailey in Courtland, Virginia.
She was a model and a model instructor . She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Holiness.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Calvin Yancey, Jr., a daughter, Valarie Yvette Yancey.
She is survived by a son, Tony (Denise) Yancey, Radcliff, KY; two daughters, Doris Jean Wrenn, Hampton, VA and Pamela Mae (Steven) Yancey-Bell, Virginia Beach, VA.; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two God-daughters, Myla Dildy and Susie Johnson; four sisters, Louise Baker, Mary Ann Bailey, Virginia (Moses) Bowers and Betty Jean (John) Gray.
Visitation at Percell and Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Funeral services will be held in Norfolk, VA. with burial in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake, VA.
Miss Virginia was a great influence at our Tuesday Freedom bible study. She's always shared a truth from the Word or personal encouragement. She will be greatly missed. Brother Bucky
