Mrs. Barbara Ann Neal passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
Funeral will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 12:30pm Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 East Market Street Greensboro, North Carolina. 12pm Visitation. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park 3600 N. O' Henry Blvd. Greensboro, North Carolina.
Barbara Robinson Neal, age 83 was called to rest January 17, 2024.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perley B. Robinson. Barbara was married to the late John Neal who preceded her in death March 2022. She was a native of Greensboro, North Carolina (Guilford County) where she attended the city public schools and graduated from James B. Dudley High School Class of 1957. Barbara attended NC A&T State University where she studied Secretarial Science for 2 years.
She joined New Light Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she attended until her death.
Barbara retired from Moses H. Cone Hospital in June 2002. After retirement, she became affiliated with the Older Adult Center for Enrichment which helped with older adults.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Shaw of Coatesville, PA; one grandson, Daniel Shaw (Lauren) of West Chester, PA, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
