I am deeply saddened by Billie's passing. She was very dear to me. We met in the 1960s when I was teaching two of her children in an experimental after-school program at Northside School. She was then and remained a great support and friend. I was grateful to stay in touch through the years, and I send my deepest sympathies to Ramona, Kenny, Natalie and all of her family. DarylWalker
Words cannot adequately express my feelings about the joy and love that "Grandma" exuded while here on earth. Her smile would light up a room and she always had a kind word. My sincerest condolences to the entire family.

Gone but never forgotten. Rest in peace Aunt Billie. Sheila ❤
I was saddened to hear of Billie's death. Billie and Uncle Nathan were instrumental in giving their nephew Samuel Rogers a sense of worth. My husband Samuel was given the opportunity to drive Billie and the children to visit her family in Pittsboro. Sam was in heaven when he was able to get away from home and drive the car. I appreciate the special relationship you had with my husband when he was a young teenager. May your family take your demise in stride. Goodbye Billie you did your job now rest in peace!!

To My Family My condolences goes out to Natalie,Kenney,Corey,Chris, Ramona & to Aunt Billies Grands. We have lost another Angel in our lives. There is none like Aunt Billie. She was kind, she had a smile that would over flow any room. She was your Mother, but to a lot of us, she treated us as if she was our Mother, not our Aunt. Thank you for sharing her with us. I loved her then and will miss her dearly. Lovingly Submitted, Sheila
