Mr. Bobby Duncan passed away on Wednesday, October 13,2021.
Bobby L. Duncan was born January 6, 1949 to the late James V. and Lottie Mae Duncan in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He went to meet his heavenly Father on October 13, 2021.
His family moved to Greensboro, North Carolina when he was 3 years old. He attended public schools and graduated from James B. Dudley High School. After graduation, he was drafted into the Army and served two years. Doing that time, he served one year in Vietnam and was honorably discharged from military in 1971. Bobby attended Guilford Technical College and later North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Bobby worked at several companies and was employed in the transportation business. He became ill and could no longer work.
Bobby was a people person and enjoyed discussing the Bible and politics. In his early years, Bobby enjoyed fast cars, dancing, playing basketball, playing pool, bike riding and karate.
Bobby was preceded in death by his son Kitrell, his brother James Jr., mother Lottie, and father James Sr. He is survived by his daughter Christina and three boys, Andrew, Kelly, and Duncan Rogers; one sister, Minnie E. Duncan of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers, Wylie (Gloria) Duncan of Huntersville, North Carolina, Willie (Mary) Duncan of Noblesville, Indiana; a best friend Arthur Soloman of Greensboro, North Carolina and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Viewing will be held on Wednesday October 20, 2021 in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home.
