Matthew 5:16 in part states: "Let your light shine forth so men can see your fine works" That was Bobby Gilmore; whether I was at your home for cookouts or at the club. Shirley, Granny & Scottie, there are no adequate words I can convey to at this time. I know your hearts are so heavy now, but please take note in your Bible, Isaiah 25:8 where death will be swallowed up forever. John 5:28,29 helps us to appreciate that we will see Bobby again,& God's word is truth & he cannot tell a lie. As the days go by, it won't be easy but please remember you have myriads of family & friends who love you dearly. I will leave you with Revelation 21:4 to draw comfort in the many days, months to come. I love you all!

Side Effects was a classy upscale club. I remember (celebrities/entertainers) that came to Greensboro would choose Side Effects as their after party or do gigs there. He was a class act, as well as his businesses and his Family. He always kept it real, along with a sense of humor. He will be missed! Rest In Heaven! Bobby and I were in the same homeroom for 2 out of the 3 years we were at Dudley. He was a lot of fun as a young person and he never changed. My sincere condolences to his family. He is now at peace.

I was saddened by this news of Bobby's passing. He was always nice to me and my family (Ledwell's) along with a great Business Mind. He was well known and liked around the area. I am a classmate of Lawrence (Cheetah) and friends with Horace (Crip) from the neighborhood. Rest in eternal peace.
