Wow! You left us. I will miss your check-ins on my family. I knew something was wrong when I had not heard from you and voice mails were not returned. Smittie, you welcomed us to the club to play cards and I am so grateful. May your Betty, your family and your grands be at peace. I will surely miss those calls. Sue
To my family I love you. My Uncle Charles was a fun man to be around. He would make me laugh. He loved playing cards he was a card shark. I would visit as a little girl growing up and would watch him stretched on the floor playing cards often. Because he wore suspenders I would joke with him calling him Fred Sanford and we would laugh. He often called to check on our family and that's even until his untimely passing. JI didnt make the funeral but rest in peace in heaven because I know that's where you are. Prayers and condolences to the Smith family. I love you. May the Lord send his mighty Angel's to comfort you in such a time as this. Linda Wilson.

To Mrs. Smith and Family: Smitty is home now resting in the arms of the Lord. He would tell us not to be sad because he is in his permanent home where there is only Joy and happiness. The void he left should always be remembered as a crossover and not a crossout from this world. We will always remember his kindness and sometime abrasiveness if you "ruffled his feathers". It was a joy to be in his presence and we will surely miss him. RIP Mr. Smith. John McDaniel-AFRC, Frances McDaniel-AFRC-Auxillary (3/17/2021)
