Devern lived a life always living beyond his years. A life full of laughter, passion as he chased his dreams and created memories that would leave an inedible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. In his brief journey Devern explored the world with wide-eyed wonder, leaving a trail of love and laughter. Devern had an uncanny ability to light up a room, inspiring others with his boundless energy, and zest for life. Devern was a Friend, a confidant a spirit contained -each interaction was always one to remember. The impact Devern made will resonate forever.
Devern Tyrone Evans Jr was born on April 30, 2001 in Guildford County, to the Michelle Chavis Evans and the late Devern Tyrone Evans Sr, and departed his life and November 23, 2024.
Devern attended Guildford County Schools. After receiving his diploma he maintained his career in restaurant management, he was currently employed with Hardees Restaurant as a General Manager.
Devern is proceeded in death by his father Devern Tyrone Evans Sr. His aunt Latonya Lynn Robinson. Devern leaves to celebrate his life, his mother Michelle Chavis Evans, two brothers Keith Hooper Jr (Jamira Mapp) of Greensboro, Anthony King (Ashley King) of Greensboro, two Grandmothers Thelma Robinson and Lila Evans both of Greensboro three nieces Kenya, Ah’nyla and Alani And one nephew Anthony and host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Monday, December 9, 2024, 1pm Equation Church 901 Broad Avenue Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation 12:30pm.
