James Michael Speight, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered eternal rest on December 21, 2025. Born in Pitt County, NC, James lived a life marked by grace, redemption, and service.
From humble beginnings, his transformation became a testimony of hope. In 2001, James began serving at The Malachi House, later founding Malachi House II in 2010, where he dedicated his life to restoring men and strengthening families. Ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ in 2011, James faithfully served at Evangel Fellowship. His favorite scripture was 1 Corinthians 15:10: “But by the grace of God I am what I am…”
He leaves behind his loving wife, Constance Myles Speight; children Brencent Royal,Dorian Royal (Christin), and Bianca Fogle (Lonzell); and seven cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, extended family, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
James believed that with faith and family, all things are possible. His legacy of hope and love will live on forever. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Evangel Fellowship, 2207 East Cone Boulevard, Greensboro, NC 27405. Visitation will be held prior at 12:00 p.m.
