Mrs. Eliza Webb Haith, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at her residence.
Eliza Webb Haith was a very loving mother, daughter and sister. She left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on March 18, 1934 in Delco, N.C., she was born to the late Ada and James Russell. She attended Armour High School in Delco NC. Eliza worked and retired from Industries of the Blind after working 27 years. Eliza had a heart gold and enjoyed chauffeuring people around taking them places. Eliza enjoyed traveling to Wilmington N.C to visit her sister, and if you knew Eliza well she had a love for fish. She had a personal relationship with God and the understanding that we all have a purpose in life, and she has fulfilled her purpose. Now Eliza has joined the angels in heaven, and she will truly be missed.
Eliza fell in love with her husband the late William Banks Haith. This union welcomed three daughters and one son.
She was preceded in death by her daughters Dianne Tisdale, Kathy Haith & Patsy Haith and son Carlacy Haith. Also, her loving sister Louis McKoy.
She is survived by son Wilbert Haith of Brooklyn, NY, and William Banks Haith Jr. of Sedalia NC. Grandchildren: Nyree Young (Quentin), Markezes Young (Terumi), Dana Tisdale, and Bobby Tisdale of Killeen, Texas,. Great Grandchildren: Brooklyn Young, Nykel McCallum, Tionna Austin and Quentin Jr. Austin. Daughter in love Lesley Young. Nieces: Veronica Crumpler (Reggie) of Fayetteville NC, Carolyn Grady (William) of Wilmington, NC, Joann Jeffries & Edith Brown (Thomas) of Myrtle Beach SC and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Eliza Webb Haith's life was one of purpose, service, and love. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to witness the grace and strength with which she lived her life.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 1:30pm Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 East Market Street Greensboro, North Carolina. 1:00pm Visitation.
Burial will follow at Proximity Mills Cemetery 2009 Phillips Avenue Greensboro, North Carolina.
It is with a sad heart that I send my condolences to my great-Aunt Liza's family, having just being informed of her sunset. She always made me feel loved, with her smile like sunshine. I will always remember her laughter. May the family be blessed with peace and understanding. Jill Summers
