Lori, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I really loved Mrs. Mixon. She was such an inspiring woman. She helped raise all us girls in the neighborhood growing up during the sixties and seventies. She always gave us good advice in whatever we do. She always looked so fashionable and pretty. Had great taste. Mrs. Mixon was a true lady. Very independent, professional, educated career woman who made history. A phenomenal woman. Beautiful decorated home and made the best peach cobbler along with other good foods. A great mother and wife. Lori your mother and your father loved you so much. You represent your mother well. I know she is and has always been proud of you. Audrey Evans Williams
So sorry that I missed putting my name on my note. My note is the one about the last national convention she was able to attend. She told me then that it would be her last I felt then she knew something we all did not know. Prayers and love to all. Peggy Ferguson, Postmaster, Retired
