Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 12pm at St. James Presbyterian Church 820 Ross Avenue Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation 11:30am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park 3600 North O'Henry Boulevard, Greensboro, North Carolina.

Mrs. Fannie Scales was a true friend to everyone. You were always greeted with respect in her presence. The Scales family are beautiful and respectful people. She will be missed and my family will miss the love that we always received when we were in her home setting. To James and his family, we know your hearts are heavy but your Mom is in great hands and I am certain the pain and suffering is over. The County of Guilford and the City of Greensboro, BC has lost an Angel. RIP
