Derek, Angela, and loves ones of Mom McLendon: We, the members of the 1983-85 A&T Register, send our heartfelt sympathy, hugs, and love in honor of your beautiful mother who treated all of us as her own. Her sweet sweet spirit was an anchor for us as adults. She modeled a life of giving to others and enjoyed creating special memories. Homecoming was a special time for her. She poured her heart and soul into the best dishes ever and welcomed all to her home. We are all better Aggies having known her. May God provide strength as you transition to life without her. Hugs!

Dear Derrick, Angela and Family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Sitrena. I had spoken to her a couple of weeks ago, and she had informed me of her declining health. She seemed very much at peace and reassured me that, "She had lived a good life and was ready to go." What a legacy she leaves for us, who loved and appreciated her! She was the loving grandmother, as she mentioned that both Pierce and Journee would be attending NC A&T this fall. I will miss her dearly for her passion and love for life and people. "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ~ Philippians 4:7
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
