Sorry to hear of the passing of cousin Georgia. I met her a few years ago@ her sister's and my cousin Mary Jane Etheridge's Home Going service. She often contacted me and my father, after that meeting. It was always a pleasure to hear from her.

Our sincere prayers go out to the entire Johnson Family from the Whitaker Family. We all lived in the four corners of the Valley (Ray Warren Homes). The 4 corners consisted of Lee Street (back then), Best St., Bragg St., & High St.). Ms. Georgia and her husband had at least 8 kids that I can remember, and there were 10 of us. The Johnson's were like family to us and we all supported each other in the good and bad times. I would run into Ms. Georgia from time to time as and adult, and we would always ask about each other's families. Our paths would later cross between Mt. Zion A.M.E. and St. Paul.
