Ms. Hazeline Morrison passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, 12:00 pm at Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel 909 East Market Street at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation 11:30 am.

Our lovely mother, Hazeline Morrison, departed this life on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 1:45 p.m. The angels took a wonderful mother, sister, relative, and friend.

She was the daughter of Jesse L. Morrison and Emily S. Morrison, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two siblings—Jesse R. Morrison and Gwendolyn M. Morrison.

Hazeline was a graduate of Grimsley High School, Class of 1975. She attended UNCG for Journalism. She had a love for cooking, writing, clothing, music, and animals, but the highlight of her day was spending time with her beloved sister and friend, Brenda Morrison.

She was employed for many years at the Greensboro Coliseum, as well as at Convatec, United Healthcare, and, in her later years, at Whitestone Retirement Facility.

Her legacy lives on through her children and grandchild—Devongi Nahshon Morrison; Deja Mahoney Eini and her husband, Chayim Eini; and her grandson, Rafael (Ryse) Eini. Her love and laughter live on in the hearts of her siblings—Robert L. Morrison, Rev. Larry Smith Sr., Mary Winstead, Ronald Morrison, Dennis Morrison (Willa), Leagrand Morrison, Dora M. Collins, and Malinda Williams (Clinton)—and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a special aunt, other relatives, and friends.
