She was the owner and operator of Aladdin Beauty & Barber Supply, Inc. for 30 years. She was affectionately known to her customers as “Ms. Aladdin”. She was a loving and caring person who enjoyed helping others. She had a strong commitment to her family and was a “Mother” figure to so many. She unselfishly, lovingly and willingly cared for her great-nephew, Noah every day for his 1st, two years of life while Tennille worked. Even during times of sickness, she would still try to care for Noah. She was Noah’s “Mimi” and he was her “Suga Booga”! She was a devoted wife, spiritual mentor, friend and confidante. She always thought of others before herself. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Thompson, her one and only sister, Geneva B. Presley and her mother, Bertha S. Brown.
