Before he passed, he was an active member of St. Albans Congregational Church where he helped coordinate monthly food drives. He also coordinated the weekly food pantry at Hollis Avenue Congregational Church.
Irving leaves behind his wife Shelby and a host of family and friends including his children: Heidi, Elizabeth, Irving Jr., grandchildren: Donald, Jada, Jeffrey Jr., Alexis, Aniya, Darien, Derrick, Lamont, Serenity, great grandchild: Donald 3rd, cousins: Trina, Leroy, Crystal, in-laws: Anita, Eric, Sidney, Melisa, Melody, IBEW friends and colleagues including his best friend Bobby. Such a short time to have known such a remarkable, loving, and young spirited person. God blessed me with the opportunity to hang out with him..... he visited my home as he lived right around the corner. His family meant the world to him. We discussed and I was really looking forward to joining him and his family at GHOE in Greensboro NC later this year. My sincere and deepest condolences to his beautiful wife and the family. He will be greatly missed.... π
