With deep love and profound sadness, we share that Jeremy M. Holmes, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, with his loving wife by his side.
Born in High Point, North Carolina, on November 21, 1978, Jeremy lived a life marked by devotion—to his family, his friends, and everyone whose path he crossed. Together with the love of his life, Erika, he built a home filled with laughter, music, and a fierce, unwavering love for their four daughters: Mia, Lexi, Livi, and Zoë. To them, he was more than a father—he was their biggest champion, their safe place, and their constant reminder that they were deeply loved and believed in.
Jeremy was known for his graphic tees, Jordans, cooking, detailed stories, love for football and guitar, and his big, long hugs. He went with the flow, loved words and reading, had a gift for connecting with his students, impressed his co-workers with his famous chili, and always had his five girls’ backs.
He is survived by his wife, Erika; his daughters, Mia, Lexi, Livi, and Zoë; and many extended family members, chosen family, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Greensboro Bicentennial Garden Gazebo, where Jeremy and Erika were married 19 years ago. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the life of a man whose love left an indelible mark on all who knew him well.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to contribute to Hospice House of the Piedmont, who so graciously helped care for Jeremy.

Dear friends we send our heartfelt condolences to you at this very difficult time in your lives. We watched Jeremy grow from baby to a wonderful man. We could see and feel the love that he had for his family. Glad to have called him "friend".
The only Jeremy I ever was happy to share my name with. He was a great light in every room he entered, a great husband and father, and a dear friend. "Go then. There are other worlds than these."
I'm so sorry for the loss you and your girls have experienced, but it is clear that Jeremy's love will be felt always. Wishing you all peace and comfort as you navigate this new journey. Sending so much love.
Sending the HolmesGirls love, prayers and hugs. May you find comfort in your memories, stories and arms of family and friends. I wasn't lucky enough to know Jeremy in person. I did love all his stories he posted on Erika's facebook. The love and devotion was clear. Big hugs. Jacqueline Willis.
