Mr. Kenneth Farrar passed away on Saturday, March 19.2022.
A service honoring his life will be held on Saturday, March 26, in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 am and the Service will follow at 12 noon.
Kenneth Michael Farrar was born on January 15, 1964. He passed away on March 19, 2022. Kenny attended school in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a great football player and basketball player. He moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1977 and attended Southern Guilford High School. He graduated from GTCC in 2003. He married Peggy L. Kimber during that same year.
Kenny loved dogs, the woods, and cookouts. He also loved hanging out with his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, his sister, Leah and brother-in law, Jerry. He touched a lot of hearts and was lovable to all. Kenny would give money or whatever he could to all that were in need.
Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Farrar, daughters, Neslie and Kene, brother Ronnie Gonzales, sister, Renee Jones and a host of aunts and uncles.
He leaves behind his wife Peggy L. Farrar; his father Anthony E. Farrar (Diane); son Michael Farrar (Lacy Jones); daughter Uriah Farrar; sisters Jennie and Leah (Jerry); brothers, Paul and Marc; grandchildren Jamir, Jamoni, and Jamaya; niece Misty and nephews Tyree, Elgin, Sheldon, Corey, Jason, Lil Dee, Ricky, Damion and Alexander (Trey).
