Mr. Montel Gregory Williams, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 1:30 pm at Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 E. Market St. Greensboro, NC . 1 pm Visitation. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery 3600 North O' Blvd. Greensboro, NC.

Montel Gregory Williams was born June 11, 1996, to the late Shermin Williams and Cassandra Miller Lee Williams. He was raised by his loving grandmother, Lucille Henry Miller. He was a devoted brother, uncle, loving cousin, and friend to many. God saw fit to take him home on Friday, July 28, 2023.

Montel was a graduate of James Benson Dudley High School, Greensboro, North Carolina in the class of 2015. He attended Seventh Day Adventist Church in Asheboro, North Carolina with his grandmother. Montel was a young man of many talents, with a contagious smile, was loving, giving, and a kindhearted man in spirit. He loved to joke, dance and cherished his family. He was a hard worker at the Shamrock manufacturing company, as well as a die-hard Patriots fan. However, his true passion and dreams led him to spend most of his free time perfecting his craft as a talented aspiring rap artist.

Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his cousin: Gary Miller; his two aunts: Dannette Jackson and Donna Miller; and his uncle: Tobin Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memory his grandmother: Lucille Henry Miller; his three brothers: Kenta L. Miller, Antonio Lee (Ashley), Derrick Miller (Monique); his aunts: Lisa Miller (James) and Annette Henry Speaks; his uncles: James Miller, Henderson Miller (Chelsea), and David Henry; his cousins: Leslie Bass (Kevin), Brittney Shelf, Jamie Shelf, Shekita Miller, Whitney Miller, Tavis Peoples, Travis Smith, Tobin Smith; and a host of additional cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
