I remember the first time we met... he didn't like my honesty. He gave it a couple weeks and we spoke again and somehow became really good friends. A year later we became roommates. We had our tiffs but got over them, quickly. He then became very protective of me and became a big brother to me. Was always there for me. Even after I got really sick, he came in and did everything he could for me and my child. Our kids met when they were 9/10 yrs old. And sometimes we drove each other crazy but we were always there for each other. He always made sure I was safe and ok. One of the few who knows everything about me. This is going to be hard and different to live my life without him around. We have so many memories. And I realized today how much I'm going to miss you. My deepest condolences to the entire family who's welcomed me to the family because of Shawn.
I will always remember his voice asking me, "how you doin girl?"
He will be missed and remembered by all those who's lives he entered and touched.
Until we meet again, friend.
My sympathy to the family for your loss. Shawn was a good guy, if he gave you his word, you could count on it every time. I'm at a loss right not, he was 1 of the people who was like family to me, Always had a answer when I could not find one. I'm going to miss my friend. RIP my friend, hopefully we will meet again. Steve
