Ms. Wanda Cobb passed away Friday, April 11, 2025.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 21, 2025, 11:30 am at Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel 909 East Market Street at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park 3600 North O'Henry Boulevard, Greensboro, North Carolina.
Wanda Kay Cobb, daughter of the late Doris Davis Waddell, was born on July 7, 1956, in Greensboro NC. She transitioned from her earthly home into eternal rest on April 11, 2025.
Wanda received her formal education in the Guilford County School system in Greensboro, graduating from Dudley High School, class of 1974. After graduating from high school, Wanda was employed by Gilbarco for over 30 years where she made countless friends.
Wanda was committed to her family. She loved shopping, fine dining and playing card/board games with family and friends. After retirement, “Ms. Wanda” continued to be social and travel to Charlotte frequently.
Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Doris Wadddell, brother, Michael “Mikey” Davis, sister, Paula Davis and niece, Nova Johnson Morgan (Kevin Morgan).
Wanda leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Anisha (Leonard) Benjamin of Charlotte NC; grandchildren Azaria Peay of Charlotte NC, Hunter Benjamin of Spartanburg, SC, and Leticia Benjamin of Saint Matthews, SC; sisters Linda (Otto) Johnson of Philadelphia, PA and Cynthia Faye Davis of Greensboro, NC; nieces Kalietta Johnson of Philadelphia, PA, Jetta Morehead of Greensboro NC and nephew Otto “Dax” Johnson of Queens NY and
a host of special friends.

Wanda was my next door neighbor for over 35yrs.my family and I will truly miss her.
My deepest condolences to you and your family, I met Wanda at Gilbarco,only a few months before we both retired, in that short period of t we talked often. Was extremely nice to me.

To my niece Nisha Cobb Benjamin I want to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom, Wanda. I know you and your mom were very close and spent a lot of time together. I have known Wanda for many years and I know she will be truly missed by her daughter, Nisha, granddaughter, son in law Leonard her other family members and friends. Nisha we want you to know that we are here for you as your aunts, uncle and cousins . If you need anything let us know. I know it's hard loosing a parent because I have lost mine. Also as an only child and daughter it is hard because your mom is no longer here but God's Grace is sufficient . He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your hands in God's hands and he will give you strength to go through this difficult time.
