William Roland Marsh was born in Sanford, NC on August 7, 1949 to the late Mr. William Marsh and the late Mrs. Irene Marsh. William devoted most of his time to family and close friends. He enjoyed cooking, attending sporting events and helping others. He was particularly passionate about tailgating at North Carolina A&T State University’s GHOE. AGGIE PRIDE!

He leaves to cherish his memories three siblings: Reginald Marsh, Plassie (Marsh) Ford, and John, Marsh; his son Reynard Marsh by his ex-wife Ersie (Rita) Marsh; his life partner, Patricia Ann Seagraves; and a host of family members and friends.

My deepest condolences to Roland's family. Roland loved cooking on the grill and he knew how to cook on the grill. Everyone looked forward to him cooking too. He will truly be missed.
Sending condolences to the Marsh Family. So sorry for your loss! We are praying that God will sustain you, during this difficult time! Brenda, Stanley and Brandon Johnson.
Remembering a dear friend, Will truly be missed.
Roland was loved tremendously by his South Carolina Family. He would attend all family reunions and visit during the year also. We are all saddened to lose him, but we have precious memories that will last forever when we speak of Roland Marsh. South Carolina Cotton/Miller Families send their condolences.
Roland was a childhood friend. We grew up together near the Saunders Street area in Sanford. We also graduated from W. B. Wicker school, a year a part. He was a 1967 graduate of W. B. Wicker School. Go rest high on that mountain, Roland.
