Angela King, 47 of Walnut Cove, NC passed Tuesday March 17, 2026. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. β 2:00 p.m. at Fountain of Youth Ministries, 306 W. Academy St., Madison, NC .The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with interment following at Dry Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC.
Public viewing will be held on Friday March 27, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. β 5:00 p.m. at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home 402 Short Ave. Madison, NC.
Angela Yvonne Brown King was born to Sherlene Brown Beatty and the late Mac Simmons. Angela gained her wings on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Forsyth Medical Hospital in Winston Salem, NC.
Agela was a beautiful, caring and loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew and loved her. She had a heart of gold.
Angela received her education in the public schools of Stokes County she was employe4d at Walnut Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center when her health declined.
Preceding her in death: grandmother; Birdie (Tunts) Brown, Brother; Rickey and Jerry Simmons. Sister; Diane Hairston, Stepfather; Billy Beatty and other relatives.
She leaves to mourn: Her mother; Sherlene Beatty, sons; Anthony and Jaylon King. Brother; Curtis Brown, sisters; Carylon (Curtis) Payne, Crystal Fontaine, Lisa Webster, Maxine (Raymond) Berger. Aunts; Clarice (Lorenzo) Mitchell, Bertie (George) Brown. sisters-in-law; Elaine and Sharon Simmons, a special niece; Sharlee Payne, a special friend; David Smith and her best friend in the whole wide world- Latoya Brown. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
