Arthur "Herbert" Daniels, 75, of Greensboro, NC (formally of Madison, NC), passed Sunday, January 22, 2023. A Private Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel, Madison, NC.
Mr. Arthur Herbert Daniels was born June 25, 1947, in Madison, NC to his late parents, James and Louise Daniels. He departed from this life peacefully in his home on January 22, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.
Arthur was a dedicated employee of United Parcel Service (UPS) for nearly 30 years as a local and long distance driver. He was an avid sports fan; however, the Georgetown Hoyas were his all-time favorite. Arthur was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Arthur was loved dearly by his family and friends – He will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sandy Daniels.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife; Nancy Daniels of Greensboro, NC, two children; Twana Daniels of Greensboro, NC and Jeffrey Daniels (Sandy) of Garner, NC. Siblings; Michael Daniels (Terri) of Greensboro, NC and Bonnie Haire (Ben) of Cleveland, OH. Three grandchildren; Brandy York (Winston), Derrick Daniels and Denise Daniels all of Greensboro, NC. Seven great grandchildren; Larry, Laden, Laila, Khloe, Gracen, Bailey and Blair all of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Herbert was always an awesome,intelligent, soft-spoken classmate. I am so happy that I saw him & had a conversation with him at my brother's birthday dinner this past October. May God bless his family & keep them at peace during this time. Mary Reese Martin
