Bobby was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 1, 2019. He was born October 10, 1956 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Nannie and Elmer Patterson. He attended Madison-Mayodan High School where he graduated with the Class of 1975. He formally worked at Highland Containers in High Point, NC. Bobby was a very humble, caring intelligent individual who was loved dearly by his family and friends. As they say, “Action speaks louder than words”, although he didn’t say a lot but he loved his family a lot. Bobby was an avid sport fan that loved the UNC Tar heels basketball team and the NFL New England Patriots. He was a hardworking man a go getter all his life. He was more than a brother to his siblings, he was like a father/hero that always came to their rescue. No one can ever say that they thought of him in a bad way for he was a great role model for others to follow. Bobby was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Monteiro. He leaves to mourn his loss; four devoted brothers; John Wall, Howard Patterson, Thomas Patterson, Darnell Patterson and a devoted sister; Brenda Lowe, he also leaves to mourn a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
