Mr. Brannon Alexander Tyson, 18, of Greensboro, NC died January 20, 2020. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at True Gospel Holiness Church in Liberty, NC. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, NC. Public viewing will be held from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at Hargett Funeral Home in Greensboro, NC. Family visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:00 pm. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the church.
Brannon was born December 31, 2001 in Asheboro, NC. He completed his earthly assignment on Monday, January 20, 2020 following an unexpected call from God the father. Brannon was kind, humble and loving. He served God well as peace maker, encourager and true friend to many. Brannon, better known as "Bam" was blessed to be parented by a loving father, William Davis, Jr. and mother, Nancy M. Owens, who wanted the best for their son. He received guidance from many positive role models uncluding his father, mother, big brother Jalan, grandparents, great aunts, uncles and cousins. Brannon had a very special relationship with the Tyson family that loved him dearly. He was a very focused young man and loved to make his music in the Hip-Hop genre. During his lifetime, he enjoyed several thing such as, watching the New England Patriots and spending working on great projects with his big brother. He was a dedicated member at his church, True Gospel Holiness, he was actively involved in Music Ministry and usher board. He attended Northeast High school in McLeansville, NC and continued his education at Guilford Technical Community College. His work ethics consisted of UPS, Taco Bell and working with his father in the landscaping business. Also, let's not forget he had a charm with the ladies. Brannon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Stevernson Davis, Sr. and Colon Michael Owens, uncle, Ray B. Feaster. He leaves to celebrate his memory: father; Wiliam Davis, Jr., mother; Nancy Owens, brother; Jalan Davis, grandmothers; Sarah Gainey Davis of Greensboro, NC, and Betty J. Owens of Asheboro, NC, uncles; Adrian * Armani Meadows of Greensboro, NC, Johnny (Ron) Quick of Brooklyn, NY, Terry M. Owens (Christal), Scottie L. Owens (Stephanie) all of Asheboro, NC, aunts; Karen O. Feaster of Asheboro, NC, Tammy Y. Davis, Jordan Washington, both of Greensboro, NC, Miracle Davis of Fairburn, GA, Mandy Taylor of Carthage, NC, Nekole H. Womble of Chicago, IL, a host of great uncles, great aunts, cousins, many wonderful friends and family.
