Carlean P.” Granny” Lowe, 72, of Madison, NC died October 7, 2021. A public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021, at Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel, Madison, NC. with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Collins Cemetery, Madison, NC.

Carlean Mozelle Purcell Lowe was born January 24, 1949. She was the oldest child of the late Henry Lester and Inez Purcell. She entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 7, 2021. For years she worked as a cook at 220 Restaurant. Her love for cooking touched souls and warmed hearts. She was a pillow in her community playing multiple roles.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Lowe and sister, Patricia McDonald.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters; Kimberly Ingram (Roger), Kelly Reynolds (Terry), Kamisha Ocean (Charles), three sisters; Shirley Ann Broadnax, Debra Purcell, Donna Purcell, brother; Ben Lester, grandchildren; Brianna, Cierra, Roger, Jakia, Dallas, great grandchildren; Leo, Tristan, Audri, Bellamy and a host of other relatives and friends.
