Cranor O'Bryant Belthrop, 62, of 2339 Spring Garden St., Greensboro, NC, formerly of Stoneville, NC died August 9, 2021 at Beacon Place, Greensboro, NC. Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 at Mary D. Perry Chapel, Madison, NC.

Cranor O’Bryant Belthrop, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Beacon Place at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice. He passed away peacefully after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer while surrounded by his loving family, as he went home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Belthrop, and mother, Margaret Ann Price Belthrop, and sister Sherry Jean Price, paternal grandparents, Henry Arthur Belthrop and Harriet Hulen Belthrop, maternal grandparents, Robert Lee Price and Gaudie LeeThornton Price.
He is survived by six siblings, John (Tommy) Belthrop (Gwen), Jerome Belthrop (Susanne dec’d) Teresa Belthrop-Hairston (Roy dec’d), Veronica Belthrop-Brown (Arnold, Jr.), Robin Belthrop (George), Anthony Belthrop. Nephews: Cameron Hairston, John Hairston, Justin Belthrop, Jordan Belthrop, Matthew Belthrop, Grayson Hairston, Noir Belthrop. Nieces: Alexandra Perkins, Jazmine Perkins, Aaliyah Perkins, Indigo Belthrop, Blush Belthrop. Aunts: Harriet Belthrop and Alice Faison of New York. Devoted cousins: Carol Broadnax and Jimmy Thomas.
Cranor was born on October 3, 1958 in Eden, North Carolina. He graduated from Stoneville High School in 1977. He was a lifelong over the road trucker, and he worked for various companies driving from coast to coast. He traveled to all states and enjoyed sharing tales from the road. He had many family members, friends and supporters who walked his life journey with him and truly celebrated his life. Thank you for being a friend.
