Mrs. Ella R. Moore, 78, died Saturday, July 18, 2020. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Reidsville, NC. Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC.
Ella was the daughter of the late Russell Nelson Rosser and Juanita Mae Gregory was born on August 19, 1941 in Gretna, Virginia. Following a short period of illness, she departed this life on July 18, 2020. Ella attended public school in Chatham, VA and Rockingham Community College where she completed the requirements to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). Ella worked as a CNA for many years in various capacities throughout Rockingham County until her retirement. Ella joined Greater Shining Light Apostolic Church in 1988, where she was a faithful member of the Senior Choir and the Usher Beard until her health began to decline in 2018. Ella was also preceded in death by her brother, Bernard and Lacy Rosser and sister, Mary Stephens. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 29 years, John Moore, Jr. of the residence. children; Patricia Hampton (Greensboro, NC), McKinley Rosser (Stokesdale, NC), Russell Rosser (Andrea) Reidsville, NC, Sharon Scales (George), Eden, NC, Faye Hairston (Patrick), Eden, NC, Dewey Hampton (Reidsville, NC), Pamela Hampton Garland (Vernon), Bowie, MD, Irvin Hampton (Reidsville, NC, Joseph Hampton (Angela), Fayetteville, NC, Penny Hampton-Bridges (Reidsville, NC), Christopher Hampton (Shatoria), Greensboro, NC, Brian Hampton (Shanaqua), Stoneville, NC, Ryan Hampton (Shallot) Phillip Hampton (Tammy), Greensboro,NC, sisters; Emma Jean Harris, Yanceyville, NC, Pauline Carter, Yanceyville, NC, Janie Clark (Marvin), Eden, NC and Delores Noble, Reidsville, NC. Ella also leaves to cherish her memories, 34 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.
so sorry to hear about Ella. She was such a good person. She used to live beside my mom and helped take care of her. Prayers for all the family.
