Obituary For Hannah Mae Lee Abbott

Mrs. Hannah M. Abbott, 82, of Eden,NC died March 14, 2020. Public visitation will be Friday March 20, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Perry Spencer Funeral Home Chapel, Eden, NC. THE FAMILY WILL HAVE A PRIVATE SERVICE.

On Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC Hannah Abbott was called to enteral rest. She was born to the late Alfred Lee and Willie Mae Stokes Lee on July 22, 1937. Hannah was educated in the Rockingham County Schools and worked at Stoneville, Furniture, Stoneville, NC until she retired. She was a faithful member of Blue Stone Baptist Church, Pelham, NC. We are so thankful for the loving years she gave her family and we accept that she is free. We will never say good-bye for our memories will live on in our hearts. Hannah was married to the late Johnnie Abbott of which a son was born, Larry Abbott. Also, her brother, Willie Lee “Toad” was preceded death. Hannah leaves to cherish her memory: her son; Larry D. Abbott (Joyce), grandchildren; Brian and LaMonica Abbott, two great grandchildren; Kaiya Graves and Alinah Abbott, three sisters; Belle Bratcher (William), Rita Purcell, Janice Corbett, two brothers; Walter “Dub” Lee and Lawrence Lee, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
