Henry V. Hailey, 63, of Martinsville, VA died August 2, 2020. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Hailey Family Cemetery, Ridgeway, VA. Public Viewing will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Perry Spencer Funeral Home Chapel, Madison, NC.
Henry was born on April 12, 1957 to the late Henry Lee Hailey and Sally Beatrice Carter Hailey. Henry attended Henry County Public Schools and was a 1975 graduate of Drewery Mason High School. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Paulette Hairston on June 19, 1976 just one week after graduation. Henry enjoyed car shows and working on motorcycles. He was a faithful disciple of Agape Bible Christian Fellowship where he served on the Usher’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry and assisted each Sunday in the Finance Department. Henry along with Paulette by his side were the ministry leaders of the Sweetheart’s Banquet, their teamwork was incredible. Henry leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 45 years, Paulette Hairston Hailey, two children Tandes (Tony) Hailey (Tameka) and Ebony J. Hailey. Five grandchildren, Devante, Candes, Tamera, Darian and Alaya whom he absolutely adored. Two sisters, Shelia Turner of Collinsville, VA and Lisa Shelton (Steve) of Martinsville, VA. Two brothers, Markus Hailey (Glen) and Corey Hailey, along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and acquaintances.

Henry was such a wonderful father, grandfather and husband! He truly loved his family and was soooo proud of each one of you! We will treasure that beautiful smile; his kind and thoughtful friendship and all our ballgame times with our children. Love and prayers with you all!
