Jacqueline Edwards, 61, of Winston- Salem, NC passed Saturday, November 30, 2024. Public viewing will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon at St. Matthew Apostolic Temple, 3640 Walkertown Road, Winston Salem, NC with the family visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. and the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Jacqueline Hope Edwards was born on September 1, 1963. This beautiful "Baby Girl" was born to Doretha Pouncey Edwards (deceased) in Winston Salem, NC. She left this earthly home on November 30, 2024. She was educated in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County Schools, graduating from West Forsyth High School. In her lifetime she enjoyed what was considered home - a good time, music, family and cooking. Also what we know clearly, She loved and knew the Lord. Jacqueline (Jackie) was one proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she showcased it well.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Doretha P. Edwards, brothers Roanold Edwards, and Nathaniel Pouncey. She will deeply be missed, leaving pieces of her heart to be cherished by many.

Jackie is survived by her children, Ricardo L. Edwards, Ricky A. Edwards and Jacara Hope Braxton. Her sisters, Velvetta Edwards, Madeline Edwards and Toni L. Edwards; two brothers, Mel Cornell Edwards and Cedric Edwards. She was a loving and loved grandmother/great-grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends! Isaiah 25:8:
