Obituary For James William Brown

James William Brown 67 of Eden, NC passed Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023 at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

James William Brown, son of the late Howard Jones and the late Mary Brown, was born November 21, 1955. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 3023.

As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County he was employed with Sara Lee Company since 1989, where he retired. He then went to work at Fieldcrest for a short time in 2019. James enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboy’s football team, going fishing, playing horseshoes with friend and listening to R & B music. But most of all he loved the fellowship he had with his family.

His legacy of love, happiness and faithfulness will continue through remaining loved ones: his daughter; Misty Martin, sisters; Ann Williams and Mary Hayes, nephews; Lamont Brim, Makesha Brim and John Wilson. He also leaves to cherish his memory three stepchildren; Michelle Blackwell, Malcolm Blackwell and Janice Watkins. Also, special friends; Doris Blackwell, Bennie Withers a host of other relatives and friends.
