Keith “Bo” Sims went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2025 at his home in Blue Creek. He was born to the late Helen and Carl Sims Sr.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ms. Vonda Shore and his brother, Carl Sims, Jr.
Bo graduated from Morehead High school and went on to attend Fayetteville State on a football scholarship. Bo worked numerous years doing various jobs around Rockingham County. However, the job that best suited him was bringing laughter and joy to who ever came across his path. He was man like no other and did not hold his tongue. He was a living Legend.
Mr. Sims accepted Christ and an early age. As he would say, “Keep the Faith”.
Left to cherish his memories: one son, Justin Shore two grandchildren; Nahlia and Evelynn Shore, one niece, Dana Sims, best friends; Curtis Grant, Isaac Williams and Dick Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
"Bo" was a friend to all of Blue Creek. But he was especially my Big Brother. We pray the Lord's strength and comfort unto the extended Sims Family. Mr Carl and Ms Helen Sims and "Hub" and "Bo" were the best! Rest in Peace, Y'all! Donald & Diana Smith & Family
I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of your death. You will always hold a place in my heart, full of laughter and fun. I send my condolence to your family your classmate Vanessa class of 72.
My deepest condolences to Justin and the rest of the family. Rest easy unc Bo.
I went to elementary school thru high school. Wherever Bo was it was laughter. He would always cut up and act crazy. Crazy in a good way. After high school when I would see Bo he was the same guy fun loving and joking around. It was a shock to find out he passed. While I am not able to be at the viewing nor funeral I truly hope my classmates give him the love and respect he deserves. Greg Sims i sorry for the loss Praying for all the family. Smile on my brother smile on!! much class of 72 love Linda Wilkerson
