Mr. Larry Galloway, 64, of Greensboro, NC died August 9, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel, Madison, NC. Burial will be in the Goodwill First Baptist Church Cemetery, Madison, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Larry was born on August 1, 1955 in Rockingham County to Willie Pearl Mitchell and the late Theodore Roosevelt Galloway. He departed this life on Friday, August 9, 2019. He received his education in the public schools of Guilford County. He graduated from Page High School, Greensboro, NC, where he lived until his passing. Larry joined Goodwill Baptist Church in Madison, NC at an early age and was baptized and gave his life to the Lord. Larry was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Nannie McQuenn, aunt, Lillian Tatum (Walter), uncles, Alfred Allred and Theordore McQuenn (Nora), brother-in-law; Micheal Webster. He is survived by: his daughters; Wendy Galloway, Samantha Galloway, April Galloway, Natasha Galloway, Angel Cole Galloway, son; Larry Gunner Cole Galloway and several grandchildren. Mother & step-father; Willie Pearl and John Mitchell, sisters; Dell Webster, Linda Hairston (Alfred), Hattie Foye (Steve), Tenita Price (Jimmy), brothers; George Galloway, Randy Galloway, Danny Galloway (Joy), Marvin McQueen, Ned McQueen (Linda), a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry will always be remembered for his love of family, life and laughter.
