I must start by saying that it is very difficult to pen these words about Makayla, only 22 years of age. She was just a "bud" on our family tree. We lost many branches on this tree and I thought about how they held us upright and strong. I never felt so weak after hearing this tragic news. Your father, my uncle and Makayla's G-Pop, as strong as he was, this would have shut him down for a longtime, as I know it is with your mom. (Aunt Jo)It brings me to tears just thinking about them. Along with the memories of dear loved ones; we will talk about her, we will remember her beautiful smile, her vivid personality and the joy she shared through her short life.
